Privacy notice
Last updated 2026-10-12
Belle Arrivée is a chauffeur-driven airport arrival service in classic French cars, currently in private pre-launch. This notice explains what we collect on this website, why, and what you can do about it. It follows the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the French Data Protection Act.
Who is responsible
The data controller is Belle Arrivée. For any question or request about your data, write to contact@belle-arrivee.example.
What we collect and why
| Data | Why | Legal basis | Kept for |
|---|---|---|---|
| Availability request: chosen car and price shown, arrival date, time and flight number, destination, number of guests and bags, name, email, optional phone and special requests | To answer your request, and to understand demand before launching the service | Steps taken at your request before a contract; our legitimate interest in assessing demand | 12 months |
| Priority-access list: email, and whether you also asked for news | To tell you once when reservations open; to send occasional news only if you ticked that box | Your consent, which you can withdraw at any time | Until you withdraw, and at most 24 months |
| Audience measurement: pages and sections viewed, cars viewed and chosen, form steps reached, device type, country, referring site and campaign | To count visits and see which cars and prices interest people | Our legitimate interest for anonymous counts; your consent for the browser identifier | 13 months |
| Consent records: your measurement and mailing choices, with date and wording | To prove that we respected your choices | Legal obligation | 5 years |
We do not take payment details on this website. A request is not a booking: no journey is confirmed and nothing is charged.
How visits are measured
We run our own measurement and do not use advertising trackers or share data with advertising networks. What you type into the form is never sent to our measurement system; it only records that a step was completed or that a field needed correcting.
- If you accept measurement, a random identifier is stored in your browser so that we can recognise a returning visit and follow a journey across pages. We ask again after six months.
- If you decline, or have not chosen, nothing is stored in your browser for measurement. Visits are counted using a key that changes every day and cannot be traced back to you. Your IP address is used momentarily to compute that key and to block abuse, and is not stored.
You can change your choice at any time with the "Measurement choices" link at the bottom of every page.
Cookies and browser storage
| Name | Purpose | Duration | Needs consent |
|---|---|---|---|
| ba_exp (cookie) | Keeps the prices and presentation you were shown consistent between visits | 90 days | No, required for the site to show a consistent price |
| ba_consent (local storage) | Remembers your measurement choice | 6 months | No |
| ba_vid (local storage) | Random visitor identifier for audience measurement | Until you withdraw consent, at most 13 months | Yes |
| ba_sid, ba_attr, ba_ret (session storage) | Visit identifier, the site or campaign that brought you, and whether the visit is a return visit | Until you close the tab | Yes |
| ba_admin (cookie) | Signs in site administrators | 8 hours | No, administrators only |
Who receives your data
Only the Belle Arrivée team, and the companies that host the website and its database on our behalf under a data processing agreement. The website is hosted by Vercel Inc., 440 N Barranca Ave #4133, Covina, CA 91723, USA. Where a provider is located outside the European Economic Area, the transfer is covered by the European Commission's standard contractual clauses or an adequacy decision. We never sell your data. To list the flights arriving on the date you choose, we send that date, and nothing else, to a flight-schedule provider. To suggest addresses as you type your destination, our server sends the text typed in that field, without your IP address or any other detail, to the French national address service (Géoplateforme, IGN) and to the Photon search service (OpenStreetMap data, operated by Komoot).
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete your data, to restrict or object to its use, to receive it in a portable format, and to withdraw consent at any time. Write to contact@belle-arrivee.example and we will act within one month. You can also lodge a complaint with the French data protection authority, the CNIL (cnil.fr).
